Warner Bros. Looking To Reboot 'The Matrix,' Eyeing Michael B. Jordan To Star
Movie franchises don't die. They just get rebooted.
Earlier today The Hollywood Reporter put out a story confirming that Warner Bros. is currently working on a The Matrix reboot. The movie is still in its early stages, but according to the report, executives are looking at Michael B. Jordan to star. This is not surprising, considering he was the man that relaunched the Rocky franchise.
Producers are looking at Zak Penn, who has writing credits on The Avengers and The Incredible Hulk, to pen the script.
The original The Matrix trilogy starred Keanu Reeves and was written and directed by the Wachowskis siblings. It hasn't been determined if the three will have a role in this reboot.
We just have one request for everyone involved: please, please make the reboot better than The Matrix Revolutions.
