Morris Day Details Tensions with Prince, Last Days of The Time in Revealing New Interview
The Time frontman reflects on the impossible highs and lows of a lifelong friendship with the late Purple One.
In a new interview with VLADTV, Morris Day recounted some of his earliest (and most notorious,) tales from a long and tense relationship with Prince.

From an early rivalry with Rick James to the foundation of The Time (Prince owning the name and demanding full creative control while simultaneously tormenting them on the road,) to firing Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis for missing a show (cue: "When Doves Cry,") to Prince's attempt at mending their soured relationship by insisting he convert to a Jehovahs Witness before they hit the studio together, Day spared few details.
It wasn't all shit-stirring, though. In the case of his feud with Michael Jackson, Day claims, at one point, Prince reached out and squashed it.
