OKP Premiere: The Late Sean Price Busts Loose w/ MoSS, Peedi Crakk, Illa Ghee & Royal Flush On A Hazy Posse Cut
I suppose we're all still caught up in the recoil of losing the late and immeasurably great Sean Price earlier this year. While the months since have overflowed with adoration and support for Price's legacy and surviving family, there is perhaps no truer salute to the gawd than hearing him bruise bars with some of the underground's sharpest pens. Case in point: the massive new posse cut "B.Q.P." from MoSS, rallies the likes of Illa Ghee, Royal Flush, Philly's own Peedi Crakkand, of course, the almighty Sean Price for a near-three-minutes of muscular verbiage, toasts to herbal merriments and unbridled swagger.
All of which takes place over a blazing horn chop and hard-knocking drum shuffle. The track comes to us from MoSS' forthcoming debut Marching To The Sound Of My Own Drum, which arrives on November 13th, featuring guest spots from Slum Village, DJ Premier, Joell Ortiz, AZ, Joe Budden, Inspectah Deck, Guilty Simpson and too many more to squeeze in to these few hundred words.
