The Hiatus Kaiyote singer is recovering from a mastectomy following a breast cancer diagnosis.
Earlier this year, Nai Palm, lead singer of Australian avant soul group Hiatus Kaiyote, revealed that she'd been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Currently in recovery following a mastectomy, the Nai updated fans of her condition and spirits via Instagram. And this morning, the singer shared a stunning video of her performing Curtis Mayfield's timeless ballad, "The Makings of You" from her hospital bed, accompanied by Hiatus Kaiyote bassist, Paul Bender, on guitar. The three and a half minute clip pans from a brilliant sunset to the bedside acoustic rendition, Nai's voice carrying the full-float Mayfield melody.

Nai Palm released her debut solo project, Needle Paw, late last year, and was touring the album across the states until mid-November.
