Nas sat down with N.O.R.E. and talked for more than an hour.
Nas has finally appeared on N.O.R.E.'s popular podcast Drink Champs. The rapper was there in support of his latest project, The Lost Tapes 2.
The two old friends spoke for more than an hour. It was Nas' most in-depth interview in years. The two talked about how they first met, The Notorious B.I.G.'s response to Ghostface Killah and Raekwon's "Shark Niggas (Biters)" skit, the making of "Body in the Trunk" and "Triple Threat," and more.

One of the more interesting stories came when Nas told the story about his encounter with Prince. Nas says the legendary artist pulled up to his I Am... album release party. The rapper claims he approached Prince and said "Look, man, let's do this. Let's do this song."
Prince's response was legendary. According to Nas, Prince asked "Do you own your masters?"
Of course he didn't. He told Prince "I don't and I'm far from it."
And Prince responded by saying: "When you own your masters, give me a ring."
