New Pete Davidson Show ‘Bupkis’ to Feature Method Man, Jadakiss and Cam’Ron
Pete Davidson is bringing out hip-hop’s elite on his new show Bupkis, including Method Man, Jadakiss and Cam’Ron.
We’re just one month away from the new Pete Davidson show Bupkis. In the trailer for the forthcoming Peacock series, which promises “a heightened, fictionalized version of Pete Davidson’s real life.” Cameos include Method Man, Jadakiss, Cam’Ron, and former United States Vice President Al Gore saying “Wu-Tang.”
Debuting on May 4, Bupkis will arrive ahead of Davidson’s May 6th hosting spot on Saturday Night Live, marking his return to the long-running sketch comedy series after departing in 2022.
“He’s very excited to go back,” a source told Page Six about the upcoming SNL episode. “[Leaving the show] has been a change of pace for him, but in a good way.”
Bupkis co-stars Edie Falco and Joe Pesci (as Davidson’s mom and grandfather), while Machine Gun Kelly, Sebastian Stan, Eli Manning, Ray Romano, John Mulaney, Kenan Thompson, Simon Rex, Dave Attell, Jon Stewart, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Lala Anthony, Davidson’s current girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders, and others also appear in the show.
A fictionalized take on Davidson’s life, the actor-comedian plays himself “as he attempts to work through unique family dynamics and the complexities of fame to form meaningful relationships,” per the official Bupkis synopsis.
“Pete Davidson is one of the most sought-after comedians today with his smart, one-of-a-kind humor and honest point of view,” Susan Rovner, Chairman, Entertainment Content, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming said in a statement. “Bupkis will showcase Pete’s funny, surprising, and unfiltered brand of comedy audiences have come to love.”
