New 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' Trailer Shows Peter Parker Alive And Web-Swinging In Europe
Spider-Man was last seen turning to dust in Avengers: Infinity War.
The first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home has been released, and this time the film will center around the Marvel superhero taking a trip abroad with his friends.
Although Peter Parker wants to be able to enjoy his trip without dawning the superhero costume he ends up meeting Nick Fury while traveling throughout Europe, and from there the action begins. Elsewhere in the trailer, Spider-Man villain Mysterio (portrayed by Jake Gyllenhaal) is introduced.
Both Spider-Man and Nick Fury being alive in Far From Home implies that Thanos' snap that vaporized half of all living creatures will somehow be reversed in Avengers: Endgame. Also noticeably absent from the trailer is Iron Man/Tony Stark, who served as a father figure and mentor to Parker and witnessed the young superhero get dusted away at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. Does this mean that Iron Man may die in Endgame? That's still unknown but at least the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is brought back to life.
Spider-Man: Far From Home will be released in theaters on July 5, 2019. It'll be the first official Marvel movie (despite being made in collaboration with Sony) to come out after Avengers: Endgame.
