The 2023 Newport Jazz Festival lineup has been announced, with performers including Herbie Hancock, Thundercat, and more.
The 2023 Newport Jazz Festival has an iconic lineup. On Wednesday (March 22), the annual music fest announced that the 2023 iteration – also its 69th anniversary – would be held from Friday, August 4 to Sunday, August 6. Set to perform during the three-day event at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island from August 4-6 are Herbie Hancock, Thundercat, Kamasi Washington, Jon Batiste, Big Freedia, and more.
Also scheduled to appear throughout the weekend are recent first-time Grammy-winnerSamara Joy, Keyon Harrold, Domi and JD Beck, Diana Krall, Cautious Clay, and others. General onsale of 3-day tickets are available now, while 2-day and single-day tickets will go live at a later date.
