Nicki Minaj Goes Live on 1st Episode of Queen Radio Following Fight with Cardi B
Nicki Minaj on Cardi B: “She has built her career off of sympathy and payola.”
Nicki Minaj is back with another episode of her Apple Music Beats 1 show, Queen Radio— her first episode following her reported fight with Cardi B at the Harpers Bazaar ICONS party during NYFW.
Earlier this week, Cardi B claimed Minaj spoke ill of her parenting skills and her child, and also alleged that the Queens MC made moves behind the scenes to deter opportunities.
In the episode, Minaj addressed the claims saying, "I could not believe how humiliated it all felt. Because we, how we made ourselves look. I would never discuss anyone's child. For someone to pin that on me because I'm the bad guy and they know people would believe them," and "I just want to let the world know that Onika Tanya Maraj will never speak ill of anyone's child. I am not a clown, that's clown shit."
At one point she says, “I didn’t stop no bags, give me a break.”
Minaj also claims Cardi has been unfairly propped up saying, “She has built her career off of sympathy and payola.”

Minaj also spoke on Drake and Meek Mill squashing their beef on stage Saturday night in Boston.
"I know for a fucking fact that it had been weighing heavily on both of these n*ggas," she said. "I'm happy and proud. I would be lying if I didn't tell you that Drake didn't call me and we had a whole conversation because I was still in the mode of, ehhh...ehhh..., because after what Meek did...But seeing the relief that they both got from it and both of how genuine they were. It's not about success, it's about when you know you've known someone and you liked them, and then something small became big, and now you're carrying that and it's dealt with it feels horrible...Seeing that right after this fucking brawl at the biggest part of fashion week, I was so embarrassed. It wasn't support to happen."
Minaj also gave Mark Knight, the cartoonist who drew a racist caricature of Serena Williams, the "Cocksucker Of The Day Award."
The rapper also revealed that her latest music video, "Barbie Dreams" directed by Hype Williams, will be released on Monday.
