Nintendo Is Bringing Back The NES w/ 30 Pre-Programmed Classic Games

It appears the instant success of Pokemon Go has got the wheels turning over at Nintendo. In its first week alone the companies value has skyrocketed by billions (with a b.) Sure, conspiracy theories are running rampant across the web, but it's hard to refute the sheer force with which Pokemon Go has landed and the ramifications therein.

But on a much brighter note (that doesn't involve chasing imaginary creatures into oncoming traffic,) Nintendo seems intent on satisfying both their new wave and true school followers, announcing today that they're bringing back the NES with a classic edition, programming 30 of their time-tested games into the console. All of which is to say that if Pokemon isn't exactly your bag, you can now get down with Zelda and Mario in high-def, or whatever 8-bit graphics look like on a modern day TV set. The NES Classic Edition is slated to arrive on November 11th for the righteously low price of $59.99.
