Nipsey Hussle's Alleged Killer's Bail Reportedly Set At $7 Million & Is Being Held In Solitary For Fear Of His Life
Eric Holder has been accused of killing the late Los Angeles rapper.
Nipsey Hussle's alleged killer is reportedly being held in solitary confinement because police fear that he's a target.
Since arresting Eric Holderon Tuesday in Bellflower, law enforcement has since placed him in isolation at a police station in South Los Angeles, according to TMZ. The site goes on to report that police "refuse to let Holder mingle with the general population, because they believe he's a target."
Holder will remain in solitary confinement until he's transferred to Los Angeles County Jail while awaiting trial. Holder's bail has also been set at $7,040,000.
Holder was an aspiring rapper who went by the name Fly Mac. LA police said that Holder shot Hussle to death after the two exchanged words on Sunday afternoon.
The killing was recorded by a surveillance video, which shows the gunman fleeing after shooting Hussle and two other men outside the late rapper's Marathon Clothing store.
Since his death, a handful of rappers have shared tributes to Hussle including Pharrell, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole.
"You were about something..positive and for your community in every chance you had to speak..and because of that You inspired millions..millions who will uphold your legacy forever. rest amongst the stars," Pharrell tweeted.
Lauren London, who was dating Hussle and has a son with him, also spoke on his death.
"I am completely lost, I’ve lost my best friend, My sanctuary, My protector, My soul…. I’m lost without you, We are lost without you," London wrote in a heartfelt letter on Instagram.
