Detroit heavyweight, Tall Black Guy, has been constant source of super-slung gems over the years. His Soundcloud page has been something of a go-to for beat scene enthusiasts for what seems like ages now, proving that the vestiges of Dilla's sound can still rule in the clouds. And while we've tried with all our might to keep a tab on your boy, his output has been nothing short of prolific, reaching artists stateside and abroad alike.
Case in point: the freshly-released remix of Noah Slee's "Wild Rampant Free," which pits the Berlin-based singer against a smooth-as-silk sonic suite from the Detroit native, instantly recalling the Soulquarian glow with crisp claps and a stuttering kick. Slee croons supreme, layering the cuts with heavenly harmonies. His debut EP, which features the original cut, was released back in March and is certainly worth a run if you're feeling this one. Hear Tall Black Guy's remix of "Wild Rampant Free" down below and keep your ear to the ground for more from the brilliant beatsmith in the weeks and months ahead. Seriously though, see if you can't get this thing out of your head.
