Pac Div's Like Drops Solo Debut, 'Songs Made While High'
Ten years after Southern California rap trio Pac Div impressed fans with their debut Sealed For Freshness: The Blend Tape, group member Like is opening a new chapter in his career: his first full-length album, Songs Made While High.
Pac Div hasn't released an album since 2012's GMB, but Like has stayed busy, quietly building up his production resume. He produced "Sing About Me, Dying Of Thirst" from Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d City; Ab-Soul's "Just Have Fun;" Curren$y’s “Cruizin;” MED, Blu and Madlib's "Finer Things;" and Anderson .Paak's "Room In Here (ft. The Game, Sonya Elise)," a highlight from his album Malibu. Just this past March, Like released an instrumental album called Emeralds.
Songs Made While High is Like's official debut album, and his first time fans will regularly hear his voice since Pac Div's last album. In recent weeks, he dropped two other singles: Anderson .Paak reciprocates the love with an appearance on "Mission Road," and Like takes a psychedelic approach for the music video for "Vice." To accompany the release, he released the music video for "Miss Me With That," giving him a solid three for three from Songs Made While High so far.

Like's Songs Made While High is the second release from a Pac Div member in a week's time. Last weekend, his brother and groupmate Mibbs dropped his own new album, Killer of Sheep. Pac Div was one of the better rap groups of the 2000s, so it's great to see them making music again, even if they're doing so separately.
