Now You Can Have Clear Skin Like Pharrell (For the Low Price of $126)
The new Pharrell skincare line is dropping November 25.
Over the years, fans have wondered how Pharrell Williams maintains his youthful look. There have been countless memes and interviews on the subject. On Thursday, the Grammy-winning producer announced the launch of his personal line, Humanrace Skincare. The unisex line starts with three essential products he's calling "The Three-Minute Facial."
Pharrell developed the line with Dr. Elena Jones, his dermatologist of 20 years. The products, which they describe as a product of "20 years of skincare experience and education," are vegan and fragrance-free.
"Your face is the result of the spirit behind it," he said in a statement. "It's important to take care of your skin and to also take time for yourself each day."
The first product is a rice powder cleanser (which runs at $32), made with micronized rice powder that foams when mixed with water. After the cleanse, use the Lotus Enzyme Exfoliator ($46) made with 8% glycolic acid to exfoliate and regenerate skin. Finally, use the Humidifying Cream ($48)--which recreates the effects of natural humidity thanks to mushroom extract and squalene.
"We wanted to choose ingredients that are clean, effective and friendly for all skin types," Jones said in the press release. The packaging is refillable, with over 50% post-consumer recycled landfill plastic.
"Humanrace Skincare doesn't differentiate by race or gender," Pharrell continued. "We're creating for humans, we are all born in the same skin and Humanrace celebrates this."
