Phonte & Eric Roberson Put One Up For The Heavy-Hearted w/ "It's So Easy"
Just to be clear, there's a whole lot in the works from Phonte. The malleable music man has been seen and heard in countless configurations over the last year (features on Kaytranada's 99.9%, RJD2's Dame Fortune, Robert Glasper's Everything's Beautiful and PRhyme's self-titled, just to name a few,) yet shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon as he readies not one, but two new albums for the latter half of 2016; a collaborative project with Erro and his own solo album, both slated to arrive by year's end.
Today, he shares a taste of what's to come with the infectious two-stepping anthem "It's So Easy," recruiting frequent collaborator Eric Roberson for the mid-tempo party-starter. It's available for you to hear down below, just be warned. There's plenty more just around the corner, with the Erro project landing on July 22nd and his sophomore solo album No News Is Good Newsarriving on September 30th. Until then rock with Phonte and Eric Roberson's latest and hold tight for the next transmission. With all of the pain and frustration these last few days, and really the last few years, have brought, this is the release we need.
