Premiere: Polly A Steps Out Into The "Brooklyn Sun"
The tide is turning in a hurry for young singer/songwriter, Polly A. The NYC transplant spent her formative years behind-the-scenes writing cuts for some of music's biggest names (including J. Cole and Alicia Keys,) but this spring, she'll step out on her own with the debut EP, Ghetto Gold Dream.
Last week, she released the project's lead-off single, "Brooklyn Sun," flaunting an inarguable command of pop structures and r&b elements and wielding a vox that's not scared to sprawl-out over such radio-ready frequencies. Today, we have the pleasure of bringing you a monochromatic visual accompaniment to her close-up single, which only adds yet another layer to the irrefutable charm of Polly A. You can get acquainted with this bright new voice in the game down below. There's no firm date on the album as of yet, but you can keep your eyes on us for updates on her debut Ghetto Gold Dream EP in the weeks and months ahead. Jump on over to her Soundcloud for continued listening as we await the big reveal. Take the single home with you via iTunes today.
