PRhyme & Logic Jump Into The "Mode" w/ A Blazing New Cut
PRhyme (AKA the mighty DJ Premier & Royce Da 5'9") may have very well delivered one of 2014's finest outings in their collaborative debut, but the new year's been thirsting for that rugged & raw. And so today, the dynamic hip-hop duo have unleashed their contribution to the forthcoming Southpaw OST; a vintage-soaked offering that makes use of Adrian Younge's sitar strut and DMV rhymer Logic's liquid lines for a sonic specimen that should put a little kink in your neck from all the head-bopping and face-scrunching that is sure to ensue. This is but the first track from the Southpaw OST to make way through the internets, but it seems it certainly won't be the last, as Action Bronson, Joey Bada$$, The Weekend, Frank Ocean and even (somehow) Notorious B.I.G. all make appearances on the Eminem-curated soundtrack for a film that's getting plenty of shine well before its release. The film will be landing on silver screens far and wide July 24th so be sure to peep when you get the chance. Listen to the latest sweat-soaked sparring score from PRhyme & Logic below and hold tight for more drops from the star-studded OST in the days to come.
