Prince Is Throwing A "Rally 4 Peace" In Baltimore This Weekend
As Baltimore continues to simmer in the aftermath of Freddie Gray's murder and the subsequent protests, musicians, artists and performers have been flooding the community with positivity and support. But one purple-clad dynamo will be taking it to a whole other level this weekend. Prince will be descending upon Charm City this Sunday to throw a "Rally 4 Peace" at Royal Farms Arena in an act of solidarity with a community still smoldering in unrest. The rally will play host to the debut of his recently announced, but yet to be released ode "Baltimore" and may feature some special guests. Tickets for the rally go on sale today at 5pm sharp, so be sure to have your wallet ready as you close up shop at work today. Hit the link to get a jump on your stub and peep the lyrics to his protest anthem below. And remember, wear something gray.

Nobody got in nobody’s way
So I guess you could say
It was a good day
At least a little better than the day in Baltimore
Does anybody hear us pray?
For Michael Brown or Freddie Gray
Peace is more than the absence of war
Absence of war
Are we gonna see another bloody day?
We’re tired of cryin’ and people dyin’
Let’s take all the guns away
Absence of war—you and me
Maybe we can finally say
Enough is enough, it’s time for love
It’s time to hear
It’s time to hear
The guitar play!
