Prince Will Live Stream His 'Rally 4 Peace' On TIDAL For Free

With the news of Prince's Baltimore takeover coming earlier this week, it's fair to say that those of us who can't afford the three-to-four-figure price tag were feeling a little left out. But The Purple One feels for you, guys. Today he announced that the show will go up as a live stream on TIDAL for the low, low price of free ninety-nine, which is the most we've yet to see from the embattled hi-fi audio streaming company since it's unveiling last month.
For those flashing their late passes, Prince is throwing a lavender-lit, grayed-out "Rally 4 Peace" as an act of solidarity with Charm City and its embattled community, still well within the depths of civil unrest in the wake of 25-year-old Freddie Gray's murder. And while ticket prices were certainly outside of most tax-brackets, this a warm and welcome consolation. The live stream will indeed be a free one, but patrons can donate to a number of local charities in lieu of paying that sky-high fee for a ticket stub. The rally will apparently feature special guests and will host the debut of his freedom cry "Baltimore" which will also be a TIDAL exclusive once it's officially released. So come out and support or throw the listening party of the decade this Sunday as Prince descends upon Baltimore and stand with a city that's showing the world day-by-day how to protest with love and compassion in your heart.
