Public Enemy Radio to Perform at Bernie Sanders' Super Tuesday Rally
The rally takes place on March 1 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Bernie Sanders has another high-profile figure to add to his list of endorsements. On Wednesday, Public Enemy Radio announced they'd be performing at a Sanders rally in March.
"The time is now!" Chuck D said via Instagram caption. "FIGHT THE POWER! Pull Up and see Public Enemy and Bernie Sanders March 1st at the LA Convention Center."
Sanders has drawn a significant amount of support from the hip-hop community. Over the last five years, Killer Mike of Run the Jewels has spoken with Sanders at numerous campaign stops. Last week, The Coup's Boots Riley announced his endorsement of Sanders.

Public Enemy Radio consists of the band's original members, save for one Flavor Flav. The band was named Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award honorees back in December. Sarah Silverman, Dick Van Dyke, and controversial activist Shaun King will also speak at the rally.
The rally takes place just two days before California's Democratic primary on the pivotal Super Tuesday. 14 states will decide their nominee on that date: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, and Virginia.

Public Enemy joins a substantial list of activists to endorse Sanders. Earlier this month Barbara Smith, the activist who coined the term 'identity politics,' announced her endorsement of Sanders for the second time.
