TDE's Punch Offers A Discourse In Cinematic Rap On The Soulful New Single "Uninspired"
TDE's head honcho Punch may not be the most established MC on his own roster, but I'll be damned if he can't blaze 16 bars with the best of 'em. He's earned his stripes throughout the year with hard-knocking loosies like "25,""It's True" and "Fear," but even with his crew basically running the rap game in 2015, Punch has proven that if he wasn't managing one of rap's most dominant crews, he could very well make a run for the chip his damn self. Case in point: today's he's resurfaced with cinematic rap galore on the soulful single "Uninspired," which finds him waxing over the countless ways one's environment can deflate the spirit, but with proper discipline and the will to move forward, no block can shackle a man. The hook features what appears to be BJ The Chicago Kid, though he isn't credited, which would mark a fine reunion of the duo, who first linked back in 2014 on the single "A Project Mind." You can hear Punch offer words of empowerment on "Uninspired" below, just be sure to keep your head on a swivel. If TDE's Top Dawg gets any more of these joints under his belt, he could (and should) be looking at a full-fledged release at some point.
