Quantic, or the operative music-making moniker of one Will Holland, is back with some new avant-funk for your dome, dropping his latest single "Creation (East LA)" off the forthcoming A New Constellation LP. Holland channels vintage west-coast jazz, leaning on four-to-the-floor disco for his latest outing, sounding like something between Donald Byrd's Stepping Into Tomorrow days and FlyLo's funkier side, but with his own cerebral synth stuff splattered here and there.
