Here's How Raphael Saadiq Would Describe The Music Of 'Insecure'
Raphael Saadiq also reveals if he would date a woman like Molly during the segment.
For her show Insecure, Issa Rae always has a post-show discussion after the end of an episode on "Wine Down." The latest episode featured Rae and Insecure's music supervisor Raphael Saadiq talking about how he got involved with the series, how he would describe the music of the show and more.
"How would you describe the music of Insecure in three words only," Rae asks Saadiq.
"All West Coast," Saadiq responds.
One of the more telling parts of the conversation is Saadiq revealing that he would date a woman like Molly.
"She's [Molly] like the turn-up lawyer. Sort of my type of girl," Saadiq says. "I would date a Molly, she's P&G, she wants to play and go."
Insecure just got renewed for a third season, with Rae taking to Twitter to make the announcement. HBO has also renewed the Dwayne Johnson-led Ballers for a fourth season.
"We're thrilled that the summer lineup of Ballers and Insecure connected with our viewers out of the gate," Amy Gravitt, executive vice president, HBO programming, said in a statement. "We're so proud to work with Dwayne, Issa and all of the amazing talent in both shows."
