After 21 Years, Fox News Has Finally Dropped Bill O'Reilly
After serving for Fox News for 21 years Bill O'Reilly will be let go by the company.
Amid sexual harassment allegations, the Murdochs (Acting Ceo of Fox News) have decided to let O'Reilly go, with network executives preparing to announce his departure before he returns from his vacation in Italy.
According to sources, what is still being discussed about O'reilly's departure, however, is if he will have the opportunity to say goodbye to his audience or not, and who will replace the controversial commentator (Dana Perino sat in for O'Reilly last week, although that does not necessarily mean that Perino will serve as his replacement moving forward).
Also being addressed is money. Considering that O'Reilly recently signed a multi-year contract worth more than $20 million per year, it seems likely that even after O'Reilly's departure he will still have a sizeable amount of money leaving with him.
A couple of weeks back came news that five women that accused O'Reilly of sexual harassment received a total of $13 million for agreeing not to pursue litigation or discuss their accusations.
"The women who made allegations against Mr. O'Reilly either worked for him or appeared on his show," the report said. "They have complained about a wide range of behavior, including verbal abuse, lewd comments, unwanted advances and phone calls in which it sounded as if Mr. O'Reilly was masturbating, according to documents and interviews."
What better time than now to revisit this classic gem in which rapper Cam'ron gave us this beautiful moment, which stemmed from a conversation between him, Dame Dash and O'Reilly. You must surely be mad now, O'Reilly.
