Report: Kanye West and Rick Fox in Talks to Aid Hurricane Dorian Rebuilding Efforts in Bahamas
The historic storm caused over $6 billion in damages, claiming 60 lives with more than 400 still missing.
Kanye West and retired NBA forward, Rick Fox, are reportedly in talks with the Bahamian government to aid the ongoing rebuilding efforts in communities impacted by Hurricane Dorian.

According to a statement from Bahamas Information Service (BIS,) the duo met with representatives of the reconstruction committee and The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday at The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA.) Following the meeting, West and Fox joined members of the committees to watch Shaunae Miller-Uibo compete in the women's 400m at the IAAF World Championship.

Regarded as the single most costly natural disaster in Bahamian history, Hurricane Dorian devastated both The Abacos Islands and Grand Bahama Island in early September, claiming 60 lives with more than 400 people still missing. Total damages are estimated to be north of $6 billion. West and Fox join Lil Uzi Vert and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie (each of which donated $50,000 to the relief campaign via UNICEF) in pledging their support to the islands.
