When Westbrook nabbed his 20th rebound, Westbrook yelled out "that's for Nipsey:"
It's a historicstat linefor Westbrook. The only other NBA player to get 20-20-20 in a game was Wilt Chamberlainin 1968, when he got22 points, 25 rebounds, and 21 assists, according to ESPN.
After the historic game, Westbrook was interviewed by TNT, where he talked about the 20-20-20 achievement:
"That wasn't for me. That was for my bro. That was for Nipsey. 20 plus 20 plus 20. They know what that means."
That "they know what that means" might be a referenceto the fact that Nipsey was a member of the Rollin '60s Crips.
