Ryan Coogler Has Been Confirmed As Director For Marvel's 'Black Panther'
The chase for a worthy man or woman to direct Marvel's highly-anticipated Black Panther film has been a long one, not without its share of disappointments. First there was speculation over Ava Duvernaytaking the reigns of the production, but that fell through due to creative differences.
Another name that's been circling the collective consciousness of the masses has been Creed director, Ryan Coogler, whose first two projects (dating back to 2013's Fruitvale Station) have put him on the map as one of the most promising young directors in the game. As with all Marvel productions, the film already has its release date, arriving February 16, 2018, but fans certainly won't have to wait that long to seeBlack Panther at work, as he makes his big screen debut with the release of Captain America: Civil War on May 6th of this year. We've already made some predictions as to who else will join Chadwick Boseman in the breakout film, but you can drop a line down below with your own guesses.
