Sango Chops Kaytranada & Mr. Carmack On Glitchy New Instrumental "I 1"
Sango puts the chop to his fellow Soulection sonic sculptors on the blazing new instrumental "I 1." It's no secret that the LA collective of beat-constructing pioneers has been running things, but the Michigan-bred producer has a little extra fuel to throw on the flame, splicing "Killa Cats" and "Blackbirds" by label-mates and fellow pioneers Kaytranada and Mr. Carmack for a treatment that takes off with the shakes of Harlem and lands squarely in his own space, somewhere north of stratosphere.
Just weeks after claiming his 100,000th follower on Soundcloud and spreading the love with the blazing joint "Just, Hold On For A Second," not to mention the Casey Veggies collaboration "3AM In Cape Town," we're getting this new set of sounds to vibe with. While 2014 has been littered with frequent offerings, his only full-length album of the year came at the very top of it with the favela-funk inspired Da Rocinha tape this past January, so it seems we're due for a re-up some time soon. No word on when that yet, but you know precisely where to find it. Keep you ears occupied and stream Sango's latest heater "I 1" below.
