ScHoolboy Q Says He Has an Album Dropping Right After SZA's
A couple of months ago, TDE's CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith announced that there were four albums from the label dropping this year. The first was Kendrick Lamar'smasterpiece DAMN. The next is SZA's long-awaited major label debut CTRL, which drops on June 9th.
So that means there's still two TDE projects left. And it looks like one of those could be ScHoolboy Q's next album.
Yesterday, Ab-Soul's YMF tour made its Los Angeles stop. During the performance, Q appeared on the stage in support of his "brother from another mother." While Q was on stage, the rapper made an interesting revelation, saying "I just might have my album for ya'll after SZA." Of course, all of this went over well well with the audience, who roared with applause after the announcement.
If you follow Schoolboy then you shouldn't be surprised about these developments. In February, Q was dropping hints that a new album was on the way. And then recently, we've seen photos of the rapper in the studio with super-producers like Zaytoven and Alchemist. studio. So it seems like something is coming.
ScHoolboy Q's last album was Blank Face LP, which dropped in 2015. Check out the footage from last night's show below.
