Scott Storch on Dr. Dre's 'Detox' Album: 'It's Gonna Happen"

Scott Storch says Dr. Dre's Detox album is on the way.

Legendary record producer and songwriter Scott Storch just confirmed that one of hip-hop's most legendary and long-awaited projects is coming soon.

In an interview on Power 106's "The Cruz Show," Storch confirmed that Dr. Dre's highly anticipated album, Detox is on the way.

“I think it’s gonna happen man," he says at the 2:15 mark, "matter of fact, I know that it’s gonna happen." He continues commenting on why he believes the release has been taking so long, "That's the D.R.E. He's a perfectionist," he says. "You waited ten years last time. Dre he be killing it. More to come from him for sure."

Detox has grown into a tale of sorts within the past decade. Though singles have been released, "Kush" with Snoop Dogg, and "I Need A Doctor" with Eminem, fans have continued to wait in bated breath for the full project's release.

Earlier this month, VEVO released the 30-minute documentary Still Storch, on the producer's life, rise to fame, and fall from drug addiction.
