Jennifer Lopez & Shakira to Headline Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show
The singers officially announced their involvement in the Pepsi-sponsored halftime show Thursday afternoon.
Super Bowl LIV is set for February 2, 2020, in Miami's Hard Rock Stadium, and the halftime show headliners are officially in place. Jennifer Lopez and Shakira will take the stage together for the first time, as announced by Pepsi and the singers themselves on Twitter.
"We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Jennifer Lopez and Shakira to the stage," Todd Kaplan, Pepsi's Vice President of Marketing said in a statement. "These two remarkable artists are setting a new precedent for what this show can become, and we’re confident that this will be an incredible performance for the ages."
The announcement comes over a month after Roc Nation controversially partnered with the NFL to assist with the halftime show and its "Inspire Change" initiative.
