The 39-year-old Houston rapper shared the news in a video post on Instagram on Tuesday with the following caption: "Just found out I got Corona virus."
"As careful as I've been, self-quarantining, staying home — I might've went and gotten something to eat or did simple stuff like that. Stayed in my truck, had masks, gloves, everything on — and my test came back positive," the rapper said in the video.
"I'm good, I feel good. I don't got no problems right now," the rapper added elsewhere in the post. "The other day I had a slight fever and a cough. I feel better now, I don't have no fever or nothing like that. But y'all better take it seriously out here."
In related news, there were concerns that Drake could've possibly contracted the virus after partying with Kevin Durant, who has tested positive for the coronavirus. However, the Canadian rapper has shared that his test came back negative for the virus. Drake recounted the experience during an Instagram Live with his father, Dennis Graham.
"That test was uncomfortable though," Drake said. "They put that Q-tip all the way inside your thoughts and shit."
