Watch Jay-Z Perform In A Colin Kaepernick Jersey On 'Saturday Night Live'
During his Saturday Night Live performance, Jay-Z showed his support for Colin Kaepernick in a simple but effective way.
Performing his song "Bam" alongside Damian Marley, Jay-Z turned his back to the audience halfway through the song to reveal he was wearing a customized Kaepernick jersey. Following that, the rapper performed the confessional track "4:44," with artist changing his wardrobe and wearing a plain white t-shirt with a pair of Pumas.

Both tracks come from Jay-Z's latest album 4:44. The Brooklyn rapper recently appeared on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge to talk about the album, as well as his thoughts on Donald Trump and the current political climate of the United States.
"I believe that we are resilient, especially us as black people and especially the culture. We've been through so much more than this guy," Jay-Z said. "This guy, I'm looking at him like, man, this is a joke, with all — I can't even say with all due respect — with all disrespect."
However, Jay-Z said that he is hopeful for the future and believes that racial politics in the U.S. will change for the better in the future.
"I don't think that this is happening if we weren't prepared to handle it," he said. "I'm just looking forward to what's next after that, because usually when things are darkest, then light is on its way. I'm not fearful."
