Snoop Dogg Offers Another Taste Of 'COOLAID' w/ New J Dilla-Produced Single "My Carz"

This Friday, Snoop Dogg will release his 14th (or 20th, depending on you count it) studio album COOLAID. The album will mark a return to Uncle Snoop's laidback mad-rapping ways, wrangling the likes of Too $hort, Swizz Beatz, Wiz Khalifa, Jeremih and that's just on the features side. As far as the production's concerned, you can expect to hear suites from Nottz, Just Blaze, Rockwilder, Jazze Pha, Timbaland and the late J Dilla.
Today, he's let loose the track "My Carz," which was produced by the great Donuts man, and predictably finds Snoop detailing the various activities, both illicit and holistic, that he frequents in whatever automobile he happens to find himself in. The track is basically Dilla's take on Gary Numan's 1980s smash "Cars," but with Jay Dee's patented swing embedded in the cut. You can hear Snoop Dogg and J Dilla link once more on "My Carz" down below. And if it's good to ya, pre-order your copy of COOLAID on iTunes today. Those with an Apple Music subscription can stream the album in its entirety ahead of the release. You can also jump back to hear Snoop's contribution to The Diary, "Gangsta Boogie."
