PJ Morton, Rapsody, Smino, & More to Headline the 'Soundtrack of America' Concert Series
These lineups are stacked.
On April 5th, The Shed, a cultural center located in the Hudson Yards, will open its doors with a series of concerts. And the lineups for these concerts are stacked.

The concert series, titled Soundtrack of America, will take place over a span of five days and will celebrate African American music. The series will feature names like PJ Morton, Rapsody, Smino, Keyon Harrold, PhonyPPL, Terrace Martin, Oshun, and more. If you're in the New York City area at the top of April, this is something you won't want to miss.
TheSoundtrack of America was conceived by director Steve McQueen, with assistance from musical legends likeQuincy Jones,No I.D., Tunji Balogun,Greg Phillinganes, and more.
The concert series will trace a musical “family tree” of spirituals and blues, jazz and gospel, R&B, rock and roll, house, hip hop, and trap that has inspired a new generation of artists who continue to develop that legacy.
