Space Captain Return From Orbit with Kaleidoscopic "Sycamore" Video [Premiere]
The boundary-blurring Brooklyn upstart shares a kaleidoscopic clip
It's been a minute since Space Captain returned from orbit. The experimental five-piece r&b ensemble has been hard at work on a full-length since their last transmission; a living-room-clad performance of the single "Still" live in session.

Today, they return with an offering from their upcoming album, All Flowers In Time, premiering a lucid and lovely visual for the album cut, "Sycamore." The clip captures lead singer, Maralisa Simmons-Cook, sometimes spliced into three, other times a singular force, against a barrage of psychedelic backdrops, every bit as hypnotic and entrancing as the song itself. Think Hiatus Kaiyote's soulful friskiness with a touch of Dirty Projectors polish and the atmosphere of a smoky night in a quiet jet-aged dive.
