Stretch and Bobbito Announce Debut Album 'No Requests' with Four New Singles
The legendary duo's debut features reworked classics and an accompanying app that lets you mix, edit, and loop songs from the album.
After nearly 30 years of showcasing and championing hip-hop stars well before they break, Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito Garcia are taking center stage.
The legendary DJs and distinguished ambassadors have announced a debut album, No Requests. Arriving on January 17th via Latin jazz icon Eddie Palmieri's Uprising Music, the album features The M19s Band as its live band backbone, incorporating elements of timeless hip-hop instrumentals in a blend of salsa, soul, funk, jazz, and r&b, with Strech and Bob as its producers and co-pilots. The project will also host appearances from Rich Medina, Maimouna Youssef, Mireya Ramos, and Jose Parlá.

Accompanying No Requests, the duo's releasing an interactive app that allows you to mix, edit, and loop songs from the album to your own design, and today, they've shared not one, two, or three, but four, new songs from the album ahead of its release.
