Reminisce on the Early Days of Slum Village in T3's "Mr. Fantastic" Lyric Video [Premiere]
Slum Village's T3 has released his debut EP, Mr. Fantastic.
Even after all of these years, Slum Village still lives on.
Founding member T3 has released his debut solo album Mr. Fantastic, via Delicious Vinyl records. The album was produced by Teeko and Ruckazoid and features appearances from Frank Nitt, lIla J, Botni Applebum, and a new verse from the late Baatin.

Baatin, who passed in 2009, appears on the title track. It's the song T3 is most proud of. In a press release, he said of the track:
Baatin's vocals on this joint are bone-chilling. It was like he was in the studio with me.
We are pleased to premiere the lyric video for the track, which features homages to old Detroit and J Dilla.
Speaking about the lyric video, T3, via email, told us:
I think this video shows a glimpse of the early days of Slum Village, as well as giving a literal visual picture of the lyrics. It's a dope way to make the words jump off the page ... simple but effective.

Speaking about the making of the track, the Detroit rapper told us he made the song and sent it off to Teeko and Ruckazoid so they can add some finishing touches. When he got the track back, he was hit with a surprise: a verse from Baatin. "[It] was surprising and heart warming. It's like his vocals fit perfectly," T3 told us over email.
