The Internet Shares A Clip For The Hazy Ode "Get Away"
Since its release, The Internet's Ego Death LP has given us heaps of audible and visual treats to rock with. First there was the cosmic clip for their Kaytranada-produced gem "Girl," then they graced NPR's Tiny Desk Concert with one for the ages. Today, however, they return with a visual accompaniment to the album's thumping ode to the escapism of herbal delights, "Get Away".
Leading lady Syd The Kyd navigates the trickiness of an contentious lover, opting, as the song suggests, to "light an L and cool-off" as they figure out the path of least-resistance as one, stoned-out-their-gourd unit. But it's no solo stand, as the whole crew makes an appearance in the clip, wilding-out alongside Syd in a train-yard, instruments in-hand, hooptie whipped-to-all-hell.
