The Roots, D'Angelo & More To Play Chicago's 2015 North Coast Festival
Chicago's North Coast Music Festival has announced its lineup, and Midwestern hip-hop heads have a whole lot to look forward to. D'Angelo, The Roots, Chromeo, The Chemical Brothers, Atmosphere and Wale have all been confirmed for the three day mega-concert, which will take place September 4-6 in the city's Union Park.
2015 will mark the sixth year the North Coast fest has gone down, and acros that time it's steadily grown from a small, primarily jam band-tinged weekend into one of the most diverse artist lineups in the country. D'Angelo and The Vanguard will headline one of the three nights, with The Chemical Brothers getting a top-billing slot as well (the electro duo also headlined the first North Coast fest in 2009). A third headliner, rumored to be a high-profile rock act, will be announced in the coming weeks.
Tickets for The North Coast Festival--billed as "summer's last stand"--are already on sale, and you can nab three day passes for roughly $180 here. Read the full lineup below and stay tuned for more summer festival news.
