The Weeknd Reveals Phase One Of "Starboy: Legend Of The Fall" World Tour
The Weeknd has had a busy past few months, and he'll be even busier when he hits the road in February to support his upcoming album Starboy.
The Toronto-bred singer will release his third studio albumin November, and Phase One of the "Starboy: Legend of the Fall" Tour begins in Europe in February 2017. He performs at more than 40 dates for nearly four months before Phase One ends in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 9, 2017.
Special guests for the tour will be announced later.
The Weeknd has spent the year so far prepping for that. In just the past month he has released the Daft Punk-assisted title track, the accompanying music video, and the single "False Alarm." And a month ago, he performed both songs on theseason premiere of Saturday Night Live.
Outside of the music itself, he has alsosigned a deal with Puma as a Global Brand ambassador and creative collaborator. His collection with the company is expected to become available next year. And this week, he will launch pop-up shops that are open from Nov. 4 through Nov. 6.
