Theophilus London Found "Safe and Well" After Reported Missing in LA
On Wednesday, rapper Theophilus London was found after his family and friends reported that he'd been missing for months.
The search for Theophilus London has ended. On Wednesday (January 4), the rapper's cousin, Mikhail Noel, posted on Instagram that the Bebey artist had been found after reportedly missing for months. Prior to being found he was last seen in Los Angeles' Skid Row.
“We have found Theo he is safe and well,” Noel wrote. “At this time the family would love prayers and privacy. Thank you all!!!”
In the caption, Noel added: “Truly appreciate everyone’s support in finding my cousin. It’s refreshing and rewarding to have such a strong support system of family and friends!!! God bless each and everyone of you all."
Friends and family of London filed a missing persons report with the Los Angeles Police Department on December 27, saying that they hadn't heard from the artist in months. Per the Los Angeles Times, a missing person report indicated that the 35-year-old was last in contact with someone via text message on October 15, having left his home on the 16000 block of Ventura Boulevard. A representative from Secretly Music Group shared details about London's disappearance in a statement on December 28.
"Over the last few weeks, friends and family of Theophilus London have been working together to piece together his whereabouts,” the statement read. “The last time someone spoke with him reportedly stretches back to July 2022 in Los Angeles.”
Included in Secretly's press statement was a message from London's father: "Theo, your Dad loves you, son. We miss you. And all your friends and relatives are searching for you. Wherever you are send us some signal. No matter what we will come get you son.”
