Theophilus London Busts A Move In The Video For "Tribe"
It was only a few months ago that Theophilus London's Vibes LP seemed like another distant reality riddled with rumor-mill guest spots and features. Today we can comfortably say that some times dreams really do come true. London unleashed a visual for his dance-floor freaking single "Tribe" featuring OKP favorite Jesse Boykins III on the hook. It's a cleanly choreographed visual specimen that finds London putting in the foot-work and giving fellow Brooklyn mainstay Dev Hynes a run for his money as the borough's two-stepping champ.
After hitting us with the sonics just a couple of months ago, it's nice to finally get a visual and the inaugural (of the Vibes LP) at that. Speaking of which, his sophomore album boasts an executive producer credit from mentor Kanye West and features a laundry list of featured pioneers, including the aforementioned Blood Orangefrontman, Motown's unspoken hero Leon Wareand a few others to get excited for. You can watch the two-stepping madness unfold in the visual for Theophilus London's "Tribe" featuring Jesse Boykins III down below, just be sure to lay your ears upon his Vibes album via free stream. And if it hits you, cop the album on iTunes today.
