Three More Men Have Accused Afrika Bambaataa Of Sexual Molestation
Over the last few weeks, the hip-hop world has been shook to its core by allegations of sexual molestation brought against pioneer Afrika Bambaataa by Bronx activist and politician Ronald Savage. Savage, who was 15-years-old when the alleged molestation took place, delivered his statement to New York Daily News in hoping that he could bring attention and amendment to long-standing legislation that puts a 90-day statute of limitations on claims brought against a public or government entity.
Those claims were denied and called baseless by both Bambaataa, who delivered a statement to Rolling Stone last week, and his attorney. According to New YorkDaily News, this past weekend found three more men, ranging from 39-51 years of age, claiming they knew Savage's allegations were true, as they too were victim's of Bambaataa during that same period, one of which would have been just 12-years-old at the time these gross acts were committed. Bambaataa has yet to deliver a statement on these new accusers, but his silence will not weigh lightly on the public. No further details have been revealed, but we'll certainly have our eyes on the matter as it develops. If you or anyone you know would like to come forth with your own statement, please do not hesitate in reaching out to us. If there is any validity to these claims, we will do everything we can to make sure your voice is heard and justice is swiftly served.
