Thundercat Announces Six-Night Blue Note Residency [EXCLUSIVE]
Thundercat's upcoming residency follows Robert Glasper's month-long sold out residency at New York City's Blue Note Jazz Club.
Thundercat is taking over the Blue Note Jazz Club with his own six-night residency in 2019.
The Drunk artist's residency will span February 12-17 where he'll play a total of 14 shows. Special guests will be announced for the event too.
"I'm honored to have the cultural icon and innovator, the legendary Thundercat bring his magic to the Blue Note venue and grace our stage for a special week," Alex Kurland, talent buyer and booker for Blue Note, said in a statement.

Previously, Blue Note hosted a month-long sold out residency for Robert Glasper. During one show, Anderson .Paak joined Glasper onstage to coverSlum Village's "The Look of Love." On another night of the residency, .Paak freestyled over Slum Village's "Fall In Love" and was joined by Yasiin Beywho performed his rap classic "Ms. Fat Booty" over the song. Bey also performed with Talib Kweli during one of Glasper's shows, the pair performing the Black Star cut "Thieves in the Night," as well as Kweli's "Love Language."
