Trevor Noah Promises Not To Ruin 'The Daily Show'
Only a few weeks remain until The Daily Show returns with new host Trevor Noah at the helm, and with many wondering how the young South African comedian will put his own personal stamp on the house that Jon Stewart built, Comedy Central has released three short and uproarious clips that reveal how things, for the most part, are still very much the same.
Starting off we see correspondents Jessica Williams and John Hodgman vie for their new boss's affection, bringing him coffee, a bagel and, eventually a mustache (we'll let you guess who made that offer). In another clip, Hasan Minhaj and Jordan Klepper join Williams as they recommend popular South African activities (rugby and cricket and vuvuzela-blasting) as a means of getting into Noah's good graces.
Finally, Noah appears behind a newly-redesigned Daily Show desk speaking directly to audiences. "There's a lot of questions about the new Daily Show--Are we still covering the election? Yes. Still keeping all our amazing correspondents? Of course." There's more to it, but we'll leave it for you to watch and find out. The Daily Show returns on September 28th with Noah leading the charge.
