Tytyana Miller, Daughter of Master P, Has Died at 29
Tytyana Miller, daughter of Master P, died on Sunday in which her father cited “mental illness” and “substance abuse" as cause of her death.
Tytyana Miller, daughter of Master P, model and former star of WeTV series Growing Up Hip Hop has died at 29. On Sunday, Master P – born Percy Miller – went to Instagram and broke the news of Tytyana's untimely passing.
“Our family is dealing with an overwhelming grief for the loss of my daughter Tytyana,” the statement began. “We respectfully request some privacy so that our family can grieve. We appreciate all of the prayers love and support. Mental illness & substance abuse is a real issue that we can’t be afraid to talk about. With God, we will get through this. #MyAngel.”
Romeo Miller also issued a statement on his Instagram.
“Our family is dealing with an overwhelming grief for the loss of my little sister Tytyana," he wrote.
“We respectfully request some privacy so that our family can grieve. "We appreciate all of the prayers, love, and support, and although this is sad times, I’m forever grateful for the memories I did have with my amazing sister. Love on your loved ones, life is short.”
In Growing Up Hip Hop, Romeo and Master P staged an intervention in hopes that Tytyana would combat her addiction. Although receptive her family's advice, in the series, Tytyana denied needing professional help. Tytyana is shared with Master P's estranged wife, Sonya C, the former couple also having six other children; Romeo, 32 Itali, 23, Inty, 29, Vercy, 30, Hercy, 20, and Mercy, 16. Master P also has a 25-year-old daughter, Cymphonique, from a previous relationship.
