Video Of Kenneka Jenkins Walking Into Hotel Freezer Doesn't Exist
A spokesperson for the Crowne Plaza Hotel said that footage of Kenneka Jenkins entering a walk-in freezer where she would ultimately be found dead does not exist.
Speaking to CBS Chicago, the spokesperson said that footage of Jenkins entering the walk-in freezer does not exist and that a camera does not even face the freezer. The details were revealed as attorneys for Jenkins' family toured the hotel.

This news would make recent claims that Jenkins was captured walking into the freezer by surveillance video false. Earlier this week came news that Andrew Holmes, an anti-violence activist, was shown footage of the teenager entering the freezer and the doors closing behind her.
"The important part is we all wanted to know: Did anybody call her down there?" Holmes said in a previous report. "Did anybody force her down there? Was there anybody on the other side of the room when she got down there? And the answer to that is no."
However, a new video was recently released that shows Jenkins stumbling throughout the hotel before eventually ending up in the kitchen. However, the video does not capture her going into the freezer.
Following a memorial service for Jenkins, the teen's family marched to the FBI’s field office in Chicago later in the afternoon to demand a federal investigation.
"I'm not a professional, but the FBI, from what I heard, they are professionals," Jenkins' mother, Tereasa Martin, said, according to the Tribune. "I'm just looking for help—that's all I've been asking for since day one."
