Damian Lillard Hit the Greatest Series-Ending Shot of All Time & Instantly Became a Meme
It's Dame Time.
Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard might have just hit the greatest game-ending shot of all time.
The Portland Trail Blazers defeated The Oklahoma City Thunder 118-115 in game 5 of the first round of the playoffs on Tuesday, April 23rd. In the process, the Trailerblazers eliminated the Thunder from contention, beating the Russell Westbrook and Paul George-led team 4-1.

But it wasn't just what the Trail Blazers did. It was how they did it. With the clock ticking down, and the game tied, Lillard was dribbling near half court, with Paul George guarding him. He then pulled up and hit a 37-footer at the buzzer — with George guarding him tightly. Making things even more epic was the fact that it was Lillard's 50th point of the game.

It will go down as one of the greatest NBA shots of all time. Making things better was how Lillard handled: cold-blooded. In fact, his nonchalant demeanor quickly became a meme:
It must have been a sweet moment for Lillard, especially considering he dropped 50 on his rival Russell Westbrook
Even NBA stars couldn't help but get in the fun:
What a great night for the NBA.
