This weekend, Ocean shared a clip of himself singing the blond(e)d opener, "Nikes," in what appears to be a rehearsal bunker. With lone Rhodes accompaniment (and no audience to compete) Ocean put on a stirring (nearly-solo) performance, stretching his vox to peak elasticity. And so, a track that once had "twoooo versions," now has at least three. The clip follows Ocean's seventh blondedRADIO broadcast on Beats 1, where he premiered the new song "Provider" and a Hello Kitty-inspired visual accompaniment. In this latest (and potentially final) transmission, he confidently asserts that there's still more to hear and see (beyond the loose singles "Chanel," "Biking" and "Lens.") Just don't be surprised if it takes another four years to get here.
